Nissan has announced that it will discontinue the Maxima in mid-2023, just six years after the automaker introduced the current generation of the flagship sedan. This move appears strategic, as the company is expected to bring an all-electric Maxima to market shortly.

Nissan announced they include older model years and select non-Nissan vehicles in their Certified Pre-Owned program. This is an excellent decision by Nissan because it not only gives them more selection of cars, but it enables those who don't have the means to buy new cars to purchase one without the high price tag.

 

The Nissan Leaf gets bidirectional charging in the United States. The new charging system won’t affect the warranty of EV owners. The change means that the Leaf can send electricity back to the grid. It is something that owners have wanted to do for a while now.
