Winning their respective segments in J.D. Power’s 2026 APEAL Study, the Nissan Armada and Nissan Murano have proven their appeal among modern drivers. The Armada finished in a tie for first place in the Large SUV class, and the Murano captured the top position for Midsize SUVs. The evaluation compiles driver impressions during the first 90 days of vehicle ownership, focusing on key elements like design, performance, usability, and passenger comfort.

A large majority of people recognize the esteemed awards handed out by U.S. News & World Report. Automakers do not necessarily design new models with the singular goal of landing on this list, but it always confirms they have done a wonderful job when they do. For the current model year, the Armada PRO-4X secured its spot, and Nissan's highly sought-after Rogue was also recognized among the primary winners.

The Nissan Armada Smashes The Competition

The 2020 Nissan Armada is a full-size SUV. This rugged and powerful vehicle is roomy. It can seat up to eight, and there is 95.4 cubic feet of cargo area. The Nissan Armada competes with other large SUVs in the market that include the Toyota Sequoia, the Chevy Tahoe and the Ford Expedition. The Nissan Armada is far ahead of these other SUVs at virtually every point of comparison.

Although they might not be for everyone, all-wheel drive vehicles undoubtedly provide some major advantages compared to either front- or rear-wheel drive vehicles. By distributing some of the engine’s power to all four wheels, an all-wheel drive vehicle can provide improved traction, handling and acceleration capabilities any time you encounter less than ideal road or weather conditions.
