To ensure customers are satisfied with their new vehicles, Nissan equips them with comprehensive factory warranties. These warranties cover a wide range of parts including the powertrain, emissions system, safety equipment, and other major components for your peace of mind.

New Vehicle Limited Warranty

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty provides basic coverage for a maximum of 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship of all original components and parts in your vehicle that fail during normal use over the course of the warranty period.

Powertrain Coverage

Nissan also provides a Powertrain Warranty covering costs for replacing or repairing original factory parts in the vehicle's powertrain system. The warranty includes coverage for a total of 60 months or up to 60,000 miles, whichever is first. The engine, transmission, safety equipment, and transaxle are all covered by the Powertrain Warranty.

Emissions Control Warranties

Nissan will also cover the cost of replacing original parts in your vehicle that fail or are defective in the emissions control system. The Emission Performance warranty will remedy any issue in your vehicle which causes it to fail an approved emissions test during the first 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The Emission Defects warranty covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship which would cause your vehicle not to meet applicable emission standards. This warranty is for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever  comes first. In addition, certain vital emission components are covered for up to 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Seat Belt Limited Warranty

This warranty provides coverage on any Nissan-supplied seat belt or related component that fails to function properly during normal use within the first 10 years of ownership. Warranty repairs are free of charge for parts and labor. 

Corrosion Coverage

This warranty covers any body sheet metal panel supplied by Nissan found to have developed perforation due to corrosion in normal use for up to 60 months regardless of miles driven. Perforation is a condition in which any body sheet metal panel has corroded from one surface through to another.

MPP Plans

If you want a warranty that lasts even longer than the standard factory plan, consider getting a supplemental MPP plan from Midway Nissan. MPP plans provide extra coverage and added assurance in the areas of GAP insurance, lease wear protection, and extended service contracts. MPP plans are offered for  vehicles of all model years, including cars that are no longer covered by factory warranties.
