What's New for the 2023 Nissan Altima?
Mid-size sedans just keep getting more competitive. The more competitive they get, the more Nissan upgrades its Altima, keeping its skills razor-sharp and ahead of its classmates. To reenergize the time-tested Altima this year, they've removed the Platinum and added impressive features to the powerful VC-Turbo trim. Its variable compression engine just keeps powering around the track and reaching the finish line first each year.
What are the 2023 Altima Trims & Features
Altima fans have five trims to choose from this year. The base model S boasts 16" steel wheels and a 7-inch touchscreen display for high-tech fun. Things get even more fun on the second trim (SV). Its 17-inch machine-finished aluminum alloy wheels and NissanConnect 8-inch touchscreen display with multi-touch control bring together one of the finest looks and tech in the industry. Upgrade to the SR trim for paddle shifters with a manual shift mode and tons of track-like fun during the everyday commute. The SV even gets a sport-tuned suspension and Dark chrome V-motion grille that's reminiscent of sports car designs and performance. Leather-appointed seats begin on the SL trim, a model that races around the world with 19-inch machine-finished aluminum alloy wheels. If you've got your eye on the fully loaded Altima, you'll have a 2.0L variable compression turbo engine to look forward to, along with the new 12.3-inch color touchscreen display.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Altima Have?
A Nissan Altima begins with a 2.5L engine that's versatile enough to offer both 182 horsepower and 188 horsepower performance. It's combined with a CVT transmission and your choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The Xtronic CVT is a fine transmission that handles the road beautifully. For extra performance, look to the 2.0L VC-Turbo engine rated at 236 to 248 horsepower.
What Safety Features Does the 2023 Altima Have?
ProPILOT Assist, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, and Intelligent Driver Alertness form the bulk of your driver-assist platform this year. Nissan also delivers patented safety right in the design with hood buckling creases and Zone Body Construction. Confidence is etched into every line and movement of the Altima.
