2021 Nissan Rogue

What's New For the 2021 Nissan Rogue?

The all-new Nissan Rogue has plenty to offer for 2021. Nissan's "family hub" interior design emphasizes the Rogue's utility and comfort for both driver and passengers. The 2021 Rogue primarily focuses on its cutting-edge technology features, safety features, and refined cabin experience to meet families' needs today.

2021 Rogue Trims & Features

The compact crossover Rogue is available in four trims for the 2021 model year and are as follows: S, SV, SL and Platinum. It rides lower and is shorter than its predecessor for sturdier performance and drive experience. The hood culminates into the taller and broader v-shaped buffer grille. The most significant upgrade to its design is the top-tier LED headlights. The auto high beam splits the headlights, and the running daytime LED lights wrap around the front bumper's side and top towards the beltline.

The Nissan Rogue features include the black pillars that stir up a floating ceiling. You can select between the 17-inch or 19-inch wheels. The door grips have buttons for quick and accessible door unlock without pushing the key fob. The LED fog light is standard on higher trims such as the SL and Platinum.

This new Rogue is more aerodynamic, citing its 3D new tire deflectors in the front fascia, unique A-pillars shaping, and the active grille shutter to help control airflow. It also offers five dual-tone exterior shade combinations to add to the usual color palettes.

Nissan Rogue Horsepower

Like its predecessor, a four-cylinder 2.5L engine powers the 2021 model, outputting 181 horsepower and 181 lb-ft torque. It comes with the standard front-wheel drive and CVT (Continuously variable transmission). All-wheel drive is an available drivetrain across all trims. The AWD unit sports an electro-hydraulic clutch for better torque distribution and includes five driving modes, such as Sport, Eco, Snow, Off-road, and Standard.

2021 Nissan Rogue Safety

Nissan Safety Shield 360 safety suite entails automatic braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot notification, rear cross-traffic warning, high beam assist, and lane departure alert. The Rogue safety features also offer a ten-airbags system, which includes rear-side and knee airbags.

The Nissan Rogue adopts the complete LED standard front lighting for an IIHS good rating. The "smarter crash unibody" involves front wheels curving forward to synchronize with the rear rails, thus improving side-impact crashworthiness and increases the tensional rigidity.

The installed ProPilot unit utilizes map and GPS data to enable the system to prepare for slowdowns near exits or around curves. The optional intelligent cruise control stops for up to 30 seconds without driver intervention.
