What's New For the 2021 Nissan Murano?
Nissan Murano is known for its eye-catching, stylish exterior design, and comfortably-appointed high-quality interior. The features offered vary by trim, including seating material, safety equipment, and tech conveniences. The powertrain is the same for all Murano trim levels, providing plenty of power for daily driving and towing.
Other handy features include standard USB charging ports and seats that are six-way adjustable for the two front occupants. The Nissan Murano is made with four trim levels. Each trim has a lengthy list of standard features and additional available amenities.
The Murano Has Many Features Across Several Trims
In 2021, the Nissan Murano family has four standard trim levels. The first Murano available is the S. This trim has a seating capacity for five individuals. Its driver's seat is manually adjustable in six ways. The Nissan Murano S rides on comfortable and attractive 18-inch wheels. The infotainment system has a standard eight-inch display screen in the base trim. This trim's infotainment system is equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
There are multiple USB charging ports in the S across the front and back rows. There are two regular USB ports in front and dual USB-C ports in the back. More safety technology is a primary highlight of the SV trim. The SV adds Nissan's own Safety Shield 360 technology package with many driver-assist safety aids. The exterior includes 18-inch wheels and black roof rails.
The well-equipped S trim includes LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, an intuitive 8-inch touch display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, and automatic emergency braking. The next trim up, the SV comes with adaptive cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power-adjustable front seats and sporty black roof rails for the exterior. It also includes the full Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology bundle.
The next trim, SL, comes with larger 20-inch wheels, navigation incorporated with the infotainment center, and an 11-speaker concert quality Bose audio system. Polished wood accents, a heated leather wheel, and heated front-row leather seats add to the SL trim's luxuriousness. The top trim is the Platinum, and it includes premium diamond-quilted seat inserts, a dual-panel moonroof, and ventilated leather seats.

2021 Nissan Murano Power & Performance
The Nissan Murano is powered by a 3.5-liter engine pushing out 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. This engine pairs with the Nissan Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission. All trims can get front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
Which Safety Features Are Available on the Murano?
Automatic emergency braking is standard, but the 360 technology package comes standard on the SV trim and up. This package includes a panoramic camera and forward collision mitigation along with automatic emergency braking.
