What Are the GT-R Trims & Features?
The 2021 Nissan GT-R offers two trims: Premium and NISMO. The 2021 GT-R Premium is supported by a double-wishbone front suspension system and multi-link rear suspension system. A six-point mounting provides extra stability for the lightweight chassis. This base trim also has the Bilstein DampTronic technology with three different driving modes. In terms of electronic technology, the Premium edition comes standard with the NissanConnect touch screen that measures 8.0 inches diagonally. You can use the Display Commander in the center console to browse the signature infotainment system. SiriusXM, All Access, Traffic and Travel Link, are included in the updated infotainment platform.
With an upgrade to the 2021 GT-R NISMO model, you'll get lots of performance-tuned features. For example, this advanced trim wears six-piston front calipers for reliable deceleration. Measuring more than 16 inches in diameter, the front disc brakes include diamond-shaped vents. The NISMO-tuned suspension system resists damage from bumps, potholes, and other obstacles on the road. Additionally, the NISMO model rolls on 20-inch wheels.
Raw Power and Stellar Performance
The 2021 GT-R packs a twin-turbocharged V6 engine block that whips out 565 horsepower at 6,800 RPM. This 3.8 L powertrain cranks out 467 pound-feet of net torque at 3,300 RPM. The NISMO-tuned turbo engine delivers up to 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque. A unique cooling mix with a 50:50 ratio is available to keep the high-output engine at normal temperatures. You won't have to use a pedal to engage the dual-clutch gearbox, which comes with six fixed speeds. An all-wheel drive with the ATTESA E-TS label is paired with the advanced transmission. The signature Nissan/Brembo braking system provides superb stopping capabilities on dry pavement.
2021 GT-R Safety Technologies
The GT-R has advanced airbags, seat belt pre-tensioners, and a rearview monitor is integrated into the 8-inch touch screen. You can also rely on the Front and Rear Parking Sensors to avoid low-speed collisions with other parked cars or obstacles.
