Which Trims and Features are Available for 2019?

There are three trims available on the 2019 Nissan Kicks, which are the S, SV, and SR. The base-level S includes standard features such as cruise control, Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free phone operation and audio streaming, auto multi-reflector halogen lights, power outside mirrors, push-button engine ignition, remote keyless entry, six-speaker audio, AM/FM radio, three USB ports for hooking up portable media devices, roof rails, and a 7-inch touchscreen. If you go with the SV, you will also get automatic climate control, heating on the outside mirrors, a smart key system (an upgrade of remote keyless entry), remote engine start, NissanConnect infotainment integration, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, and a three-month complimentary SiriusXM radio subscription.

As the sport-oriented trim, the SR is unique with a racing-style cloth seat trim that incorporates orange accents and stitching. Also unique to the SR are a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, LED signature accents on the multi-reflector halogen lights, a rear roof spoiler, and turn-signal indicators on the outside mirrors. All trims have two rows of seats to accommodate up to five people, with a passenger space of 93.9 cubic feet and a standard cargo space of 25.3 cubic feet. (The rear seats fold down to maximize the cargo space at 32.3 cubic feet.)

What are the Safety Features for 2019?

2019 Nissan Kicks Exterior RearThe airbag system on the 2019 Nissan Kicks consists of a driver's knee airbag, dual front impact airbags, a pair of front seat-mounted side impact airbags, and dual roof-mounted side curtain airbags. Also standard on this subcompact vehicle are vehicle dynamic control, traction control, hill start assist, a rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, and a theft-deterrent system. Nissan adds blind spot warning to detect other vehicles located to the driver's side and rear, as well as rear cross-traffic alert to avoid accidents when backing out of the garage into the street. On the SR, the rearview camera is upgraded with a 360-degree one, and Nissan adds fog lights for more penetrating illumination to make it easier to see in the dark or hard-to-see driving situations.
