Specs at a Glance

The Nissan Armada is one of the largest and most utilitarian vehicles in its class. If you are looking for a large luxury SUV that fits the family and all your gear, the Armada makes a great choice. The Nissan Armada also has an elegant and refined interior, and although it is powered by a strong V8 engine, it remains quiet on the highway. If you are considering the Armada for your next car, you might wonder what trim levels are available and what they offer. Two standout trims to consider are the S, which is the base model, and the SV, which is the second trim that adds many more great features.

Performance

Performance is the same for the S and the SV trims of the Armada. The engine under the Armada's hood is a 5.6L with eight cylinders. The same power output is available with all trim levels, too. The S and the SV trims both get up to 400 HP in maximum power, and you can get up to 413 LB-FT in torque if you use premium fuel with your Armada. Rear-wheel drive is standard on the S and SV, but you can get four-wheel drive with either one. The Armada also has an automatic seven-speed transmission.

Appearance

The S and SV trims of the 2022 Armada have a similar appearance with just a few distinguishing features on the second trim level. The S trim has bold LED headlights and comes with 18-inch wheels. The S has a polished exterior with elegant wheels, body trim, and chrome accents. Roof rails are added to the SV, which gives it a more adventurous look and increases the Armada's carrying capacity. The SV also has heated side mirrors that are power-adjustable.

Features

To start with, the S trim has three rows of seats and a large 12.3-inch infotainment display with a color background. Nissan Connect technology is standard, which puts a wealth of information at your fingertips. The base trim also comes with wireless Apple CarPlay. Automatic emergency braking is a key safety feature, along with forward collision mitigation, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane departure warning. Seating material changes from cloth with the S to leatherette with the SV. The SV also gains wireless device charging capabilities, and it has standard heated front seats. A rear privacy glass provides protection from the sun on the road.
